Will My Therapist be a Registered Massage Therapist?
Yes, all of our Therapists are BC Registered Massage Therapists (RMT), accredited and regulated by the College of Massage Therapists of BC.
Did you know that BC has the highest standards in registration for RMTs in North America?!

Your first visit, What to expect:
We advise you to arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment to ensure that all paper work is completed such as your Health history form and consent to treatment. Please have a seat in our waiting area and your RMT will introduce themselves and show to to the treatment room. Together you and your RMT will review your Health History form and current areas of concern. Your RMT may do assessment to review your range of motion and asses movement in the affected area. Once the intake is complete your RMT will develop a treatment plan that may include manual therapies as well as home care such as hydrotherapy (ice or heat) myofascial release and exercise or stretching to help treat your current concerns. Next the RMT will leave the room so that you can undress to the level of your comfort leaving undergarments on or off at your preference. You will be draped by a sheet and the area to be treated will be un-draped for the purpose of treatment. Oil is used in treatments and it is very important that you advise your RMT if you have any nut or oil allergies before treatment. We focus on a scent reduced environment and if you have environmental allergies or sensitivities please advise your RMT before your treatment starts.
