The majority of extended health care plans cover

Registered Massage Therapy Appointments.

Check with your insurance policy for details.
Typically, policies have percentage coverage up to a dollar amount
(eg. 80% coverage up to $500 per calendar year).

ICBC & WCB

We currently do not direct bill for ICBC or WCB - patients are responsible for the full cost of the visit at the time of their appointment. We will provide you with the receipt of payment and you are welcome to request reimbursement from those providers. Please note that you may not be fully reimbursed for the full cost of your treatment.
Please inform your RMT at the time of booking that you are currently involved with an insurance claim. We have limit space for ICBC or WCB clients and may not be able to accommodate your request.

Pacific Blue Cross, Medavie Blue Cross, Sunlife, Green Shield and Great West Life

Most of our therapists are able to bill directly to Pacific Blue Cross and Medavie Blue Cross, and some can bill to Manulife, Sunlife, Green Shield, and Great West Life, as well as some others.
Even if the RMT you are booked with does not direct bill, they will issue you a receipt with their CMTBC registration number on it, which you can then submit to your extended health care insurance provider(s) for reimbursement (where applicable), as per the instructions provided by your workplace human resources department.

Patients are ultimately responsible for the FULL COST of their booked appointments should their health insurance deny part or all of the payments to their RMT, and also for any late cancellation/missed appointment fees acquired.

MSP Supplementary Benefits

We currently do not direct bill to MSP - patients are responsible for the full cost of the visit at the time of their appointment. If you believe you may be eligible for partial coverage through the Medical Services Plan (MSP) supplementary benefits, based on your net income or status with other income-based programs through the government of BC, we can discuss your situation and give you details that may be of assistance to help you process a claim online to get reimbursement. For more information about MSP Supplementary Benefits, please see the BC Government website on MSP Supplementary Benefits.
